Congregations singing together are a reflection of the unity of the Body of Christ.  An ongoing study at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden shows that when groups sing together, the unified breathing and phrasing actually synchronizes their heart rates, forming a type of collective soul that is otherwise difficult to bring about.  Writing songs for the church is a joy, a privilege and a challenge.  We  hear from God and speak to God in unique ways through music.  Today's psalmists explore richly artistic ways to present the beauty of Christ & truth of scripture, new melodies that are somehow familiar, and new grooves with textures that appeal to multiple cultures.  The songs below (especially the choruses) are meant for congregational singing, while allowing room for choirs, gifted soloists and instrumentalists to offer their praise as well (especially in the verses).   Click on the buttons below to preview songs and to download rehearsal and/or performance content for any that fit the needs of your congregation.  May the Lord continue to bless and equip you as you endeavor to serve Him.
